AUSTIN – This week, the Texas Public Policy Foundation (TPPF) and The American Stewards of Liberty (ASL) jointly filed a comment opposing the Biden Administration Council of Environmental Quality proposed rule modifying the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).

TPPF and ASL object that the proposed rule disproportionately emphasizes climate change considerations in the NEPA process. In doing so, the proposed rule fails to ensure that implementation of certain proposed provisions will be legally and scientifically sound. The proposed regulation will create new burdens for farmers and ranchers in the name of climate change prevention.
