AUSTIN  – The Texas Public Policy Foundation today announced a special reprint of The EPA’s Clean Power Plan Will Hurt the Poor and Middle Class the Most. The paper, authored by Fueling Freedom Project Director Doug Domenech and originally published in March 2016 in the Capital Research Center’s Green Watch, compiles data from various studies in order to show the devastating impact of the EPA’s rule on both the cost of energy and on jobs.

“There is no disputing that EPA’s plan to reduce carbon dioxide from the power sector is all-pain for no gain,” said Domenech. “The high cost imposed on poor and middle class families in return for little or no climate benefit are unacceptable. Low cost, affordable energy is the way to create jobs and prosperity.”
