AUSTIN – The Texas Public Policy Foundation (TPPF), Texas Association of Business (TAB), and Southern Methodist University Cox’s O’Neill Center for Global Markets and Freedom will host an event featuring Dr. Arthur Laffer, Distinguished University Professor of Economics at Mercer University and CEO of Laffer Associates. The event will present Dr. Laffer’s evaluation of the Texas Taxpayer Savings Grant Proposal in terms of its impacts on graduation rates, state economic growth, job growth, and the state budget. The presentation is based on Dr. Laffer’s recent research, The Texas Economy and School Choice, which was commissioned by TPPF and TAB.
