“The judge’s ruling that the individual mandate can be severed from the rest of ObamaCare is crucial. If the individual mandate is repealed while the rest of the new law’s provisions go into effect, the only people with any incentive to purchase health insurance will be those with expensive medical conditions – and only during the time while they are sick. Congress’ only avenue to prevent a catastrophic collapse of America’s health insurance market and health care delivery system will be to repeal ObamaCare in its entirety.”
