AUSTIN – Andrea Whitman has joined the Texas Public Policy Foundation in the newly created position of Program Coordinator. She will manage the Foundation’s policy events and supports its policy marketing, media, and outreach activities.

“Andrea brings to the Texas Public Policy Foundation an impressive track record in both the variety and quality of her work,” said Justin Keener, the Foundation’s vice president of policy and communications. “Her energy and attitude make her a welcome addition to our team.”

“I am excited to have the opportunity to join the Texas Public Policy Foundation,” Whitman said. “I have already seen how much influence and respect the Foundation carries, and I look forward to working with the rest of our team to build upon that.”

Whitman’s professional background includes marketing and public affairs consulting, as well as brief stints in the U.S. Office on Columbia and the Capitol office of U.S. Congressman Pete Sessions. She is a native of Dallas and holds a bachelor’s degree in public communications and international studies from American University.

The Texas Public Policy Foundation is a non-profit, free-market research institute based in Austin, Texas.
