Young professionals of Ft. Worth are invited to the happy hour event: “MEMORY AND THE LONE STAR: How Texas History Illuminates the Texas Future” featuring guest speaker, Joshua Treviño.

“Conquerors who question themselves or their values soon cease to be conquerors.”
― T.R. Fehrenbach, Lone Star: A History of Texas and the Texans

Since its inception, Texas has a rich history of endurance and love of freedom. Over 150 years later and little has changed on that front. Adept at warding off attempts to change the very foundation of what makes our state great, Texans like you stand ready to defend what many have laid down their lives for.

What lessons can we learn from Texas’ storied past? How can the past both warn and guide us as we navigate the future? And how can you be a beacon of liberty in your own community and protect the values the Lone Star State was built upon? Join the Ft. Worth Liberty Leadership Council* in the heart of the Stockyards for a conversation to discuss these questions and more.
