Why School Choice?

For too long bureaucrats have dictated how your tax dollars are spent and how your child is educated.

School choice takes a family empowerment approach to education policy. Instead of funding school districts, we should give resources directly to parents. The current model of education financing is a top-down, one-size-fits-all “solution” that primarily benefits vested interests. Parents should be confident their children are getting the knowledge and skills to succeed in life. We need to shake things up. Parental empowerment puts students first.

What is School Choice?

School choice is a game-changer for Texas families. Instead of having your education dollars siphoned off to underperforming schools and districts, families get direct control of education spending for their children.

Texas must hold its education system accountable for the quality of the education it provides.

It’s time to remove the barriers that limit where parents can choose to send their kids to school.
