Born in Uruguay and having lived abroad in various countries, Rebecca has now made Texas her home. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Global Affairs from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). During her time at UTSA, she gained valuable experience working with a State Representative during the 86th Legislative session and participated in the Archer Fellowship, a public policy program in Washington, D.C.

Rebecca currently serves as the Policy Director for a City Councilman in San Antonio, where she is passionate about local government. Her primary focus is on advancing responsible policies, promoting economic development, supporting law enforcement, collaborating with non-profit organizations, and engaging with other policymakers.

Prior to her current role, Rebecca served as a Special Assistant to a Bexar County Commissioner. Before venturing into public service, she spent two years as a middle school history teacher and coached after-school sports programs.

She firmly believes that public service offers a powerful opportunity to give back to her community and make a positive impact. When not in the office, you can find her exploring nature, enjoying ethnic cuisine, or cycling along local trails.
