Paul James, Jr., is the Vice Chair of the San Antonio LLC chapter. Originally from St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University-Kingsville and post-baccalaureate studies in International Business and Natural Gas Engineering. He works as a Lead Frac Engineer, powering the Texas oil and gas industry.
As a Conservative Precinct Chair in the Republican Party of Bexar County and the President of the Young Republicans of Bexar County, Paul has been an outspoken advocate for school choice, American energy dominance, and solving the affordability crisis through aggressive economic development. He gained both National and International visibility during the 2024 Presidential Elections with his crucial Op-Ed in Newsweek: Here’s Why Young Black Men Like Me Are Voting for Trump. He appeared on Fox & Friends with fellow Texan Lawrence Jones for the segment ‘Credit where credit is due,’ where he touted President Trump’s strong economic policies.
Outside of politics and work, Paul is an avid San Antonio Spurs fan. He enjoys foodie experiences and traveling.
