Katie Fisher started as a Project Coordinator at the Center for Tenth Amendment Action with the Texas Public Policy Foundation in November 2016.

Katie grew up in California’s Central Valley. Before graduating high school as a homeschooled student, Katie started American Water College, an online training business, with her dad. Together they grew the business to become the leading online water industry training provider in the country. At the age of 21, she graduated with honors from Oak Brook College of Law and Government Policy with her J.D., subsequently passing the California bar exam and opening her own law practice.

In the spring of 2015, Katie traveled overseas to Iraq to coordinate the opening of the first safe home for rescued women and children in the Kurdistan region. Upon returning to the states, Katie moved to Houston to work on the Ted Cruz for President campaign, serving as the Deputy Director of Delegate Operations under Ken Cuccinelli.
