Jamie M. Mathis is a native of San Antonio. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and her law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law. She clerked at a Criminal Defense Firm for two years and served as a briefing attorney for the Court of Criminal Appeals.

Most recently, she worked for Bexar County as an Assistant Criminal District Attorney and as the Staff Attorney for Probate Court 1. In January 2019 Jamie opened her own law office where her practice focuses on probate, guardianship, and estate planning.

She has managed several campaigns and serves on the Board of the Hispanic Republicans of Texas PAC. In her free time, she enjoys attending political meetings and volunteering for local area non-profits.
