Abby Gibson has been an active member of the Austin chapter of the Liberty Leadership Council since 2021.

Abby has a long record of service to causes that advance liberty, community, and faith. She has served on multiple nonprofit boards and supported initiatives benefiting independent business-owners, cancer warriors, search-and-rescue teams, child sex abuse victims, anti-trafficking efforts, and youth sports leagues. Her advocacy has contributed to legislation passed in the 89th Legislature.

She currently serves as Vice President of Programs for Hays County Republican Women. A longtime Texas resident, Abby brings extensive experience in business operations, sales, event management, & policy involvement. Professionally, she works with the global veterinary health company PKB Inc.

Originally from North Dakota, Abby studied in Minnesota before relocating to Texas in 2008. A Christian conservative, she is committed to serving her community through volunteer work with churches, schools, veteran outreach programs, and Doberman rescue groups. Abby is a concealed carry permit holder and voter deputy registrar. She enjoys travel, hiking, and studying history, and is raising two patriotic children alongside a spoiled Doberman.
