AUSTIN– Today, Thursday, Nov. 8 beginning at 11:30 a.m., The Texas Public Policy Foundation’s Center for Health Care Policy will host the event, Empowering Advanced Practice RNs Can Save Texas Lives.

The event’s panelists will seek to answer whether Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) could fill the primary care service gap in rural regions and in inner cities. Are APRNs safe? What is preventing them from filling existing gaps in primary care?
