Katherine Donovan joined the Texas Public Policy Foundation in January of 2020 as the Development Associate.

Katherine is from The Woodlands, Texas and played almost every sport her high school, The John Cooper School, had to offer. Once she graduated from high school, Katherine started her collegiate career at Trinity University in 2016 with majors in Spanish and Geology. In the Spring of 2018, Katherine transferred to the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a B.A. in Sustainability Studies and a focus in Natural Resource Management. In her college years, Katherine was able to study abroad in Spain and Ecuador to strengthen her Spanish and study their natural resources. Katherine interned at The U.S. Office of Senator Ted Cruz in Austin, a local sustainable farm in East Austin, and did a research experience for undergraduates at the University of Hawaii at Manoa studying earthquakes off the coast of Japan.

Katherine has lived in Texas her entire life and likes to travel all over the state and internationally. Katherine has visited 12 countries and 21 states in the U.S. In her spare time, Katherine likes to travel, read romance novels, and eat Mexican food.
