Amanda Marzullo, JD, was previously the executive director of the Texas Defender Service (TDS), a nonprofit legal services organization that seeks to improve the quality of justice in death penalty cases. Before joining TDS, she was a lobbyist for the Texas Fair Defense Project and practiced law at a criminal defense boutique in New York.

Marzullo holds a JD and MS in criminology from the University of Pennsylvania and a law degree from Cambridge University where she was a Gates-Cambridge Scholar.
