Policy Centers

The Foundation is first and foremost a research institution. We ask to be judged by the quality of our research and the soundness of the policy ideas we put forward.

But the impact of the research generated by the Foundation extends beyond the state's borders. As Texas impacts the rest of the nation, and the nation the world, the need for conservative, free-market-based solutions to the day's pressing problems is readily apparent.

You will find at left many of our research reports, policy perspectives, policy briefs and commentaries, covering a wide range of issues important to Texas.

The Foundation's policy centers focus on specific state issues. Those centers are:
Center for Economic Freedom
Center for Education Policy
Center for Effective Justice
Center for Fiscal Policy
Center for Health Care Policy
Center for Higher Education
Center for Natural Resources

Please note: we are in the process of creating electronic versions of reports and publications issued prior to 1999. We apologize for the inconvenience.
