The Texas Public Policy Foundation today released “Restoring Liberty through the States—and the People,” which is a road map for America to re-center federal governance on only constitutionally enumerated powers, which maximize liberty and prosperity by leaving all other governing authority with the states, or the people.

“The principles of liberty, personal responsibility and free enterprise that have guided Texas to levels of unprecedented prosperity underscore our commitment at the Texas Public Policy Foundation to provide a similar vision for national leaders,” said Brooke Rollins, President and CEO of TPPF. “That is why today we are pleased to release Restoring Liberty through the States—in which we offer solutions to re-center the discussion on our greatest assets: the people and the states that make up our great nation.”

“We have before us the opportunity to cement for generations the greatness of our American Republic in which the primary governing power rests with the people and our nation’s 50 diverse states, not in Washington,” said Chip Roy, Director of Center for Tenth Amendment Action at TPPF. “The Texas Public Policy Foundation has a vision and a plan to help guide policies at the national and state level which will preserve and protect our personal and economic liberty through limited government.”
