The Texas Public Policy Foundation (TPPF) will host “Economic Development: A Debate on Corporate Welfare” TOMORROW, Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. CDT in the Joe B. Hogsett Theater at the Texas Public Policy Foundation.

Today, leading figures in government and business are debating how to best boost economic growth. While some link economic development polices to corporate welfare and cronyism, others point to the policies’ solid track record in cities like Austin of attracting new businesses and jobs. This discussion with experts on both sides of the debate will look at how to stir lasting economic development in the Lone Star State.
