AUSTIN –The Texas Public Policy Foundation’s President and CEO Brooke Rollins and Executive Vice President Kevin Roberts issued the following statements on the first anniversary of the grand opening of TPPF’s headquarters at 901 Congress Avenue:

“From its founding in 1989, the Foundation has grown with each passing year. Since moving into our new headquarters a year ago this San Jacinto Day, the Foundation has accomplished much, including growing the staff to over 50, hosting 2,500 people at 25 events, and launching the Center for the American Future, Fueling Freedom Project, and Article V Project,” said Rollins. “The spirit on 1836 lives on in the Foundation’s work as we continue to fight to protect liberty for Texans and all Americans.”

“A year ago 901 Congress Avenue became Liberty’s New Address,” said Roberts. “But it is more than a building. It is where Travis’ invocation of liberty is always remembered and where the happy warriors President Reagan spoke of, work ‘to seize back a country and a world to freedom.'”

The Texas Public Policy Foundation’s state-of-the art headquarters building just 352 yards from the State Capitol is approximately 42,000 square feet covering six floors. The Michael S. Stevens Building houses the Joe B. Hogsett Theater, the Red McCombs Event Center, and the Governor Rick Perry Liberty Balcony with wrap-around views of downtown and the state capitol.
