Sarah French

Vice President of Development
Texas Public Policy Foundation

Sarah Bradbury French joined the Texas Public Policy Foundation team in September of 2008.

Sarah’s academic career and varied work experiences with the United States Department of Agriculture, the North American Development Bank, and Texas Agrilife Extension Service led her to pursue work in the field of policy as a means of improving the quality of life for Texans. Her international travels, particularly a summer spent as a missionary in Guatemala, have instilled upon her the value of the founding American principles of individual liberty, personal responsibility, and limited government. She is a 2011 graduate of the Koch Associate Program.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Sarah earned her Master of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University. Sarah was a Regent’s Fellow Scholarship recipient whose research focus was international trade of agricultural products.

Sarah hails from Huntsville, Texas, where she grew up raising and showing Beefmaster cattle. She studied for her Bachelor of Science at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, and completed a double major in Marketing and Economics with a minor in Spanish. She was accepted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.

Sarah is an elder at University Presbyterian Church of Austin. She also serves on the board of Manos de Cristo, an Austin charity that promotes dignity and self-reliance by providing essential oral care, furthering educational development, and meeting basic needs with food and clothing.
