Nancy Druart has been with the Texas Public Policy Foundation since 2005.
Her communications background, along with her practical experience developing publications and collateral marketing materials, will support her role in overseeing Foundation publications and internal marketing efforts. She is also responsible for coordinating Foundation events such as the annual Policy Orientation and newly established Policy Primers.
Nancy’s marketing communications background extends to National Instruments, Inc., where she coordinated and implemented all facets of marketing including advertising, events, public relations and communications for a comprehensive line of virtual instrumentation software. Prior to her work at National Instruments, Nancy served as Marketing Services Coordinator for Universal Pensions, Inc., a national retirement plan services company.
Nancy was immersed in the political arena at a young age, when her mother was elected to the Minnesota State Senate, then going on to become the state’s 44th lieutenant governor.
An alumna of Minnesota’s State Cloud State University, Nancy earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mass Communications and minor in Marketing/Business. Nancy, her husband Tad, and three children (Ashley, Rachel, and Andrew) live in Austin, TX.
