Michael Joyce is the Director of Events for the Texas Public Policy Foundation and joined the Foundation in April of 2008.
Prior to his move to Texas, Michael managed a campaign for the State Senate in Northern Virginia, just outside of Washington, DC. The campaign was able to squeak out a 101 vote victory to hold a pivotal seat in the Virginia Legislature.
Michael graduated from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia where he earned a degree in Public Administration, with a concentration in American Government.
While in school Michael interned with the Virginia Senate, The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, and Campaign Solutions, a political website development firm.
Michael hails from Chesterfield County, Virginia and came to Texas looking for a change of pace. He resides on the Southside of Austin, TX and is enjoying making the city his home.
